Back When You Were Easier to Love by Emily Wing Smith
This was a fantastic book about a girl named Joy who moves to Haven, a small Mormon town, and leaves behind everything about her old town in California. In her new town she meets the perfect guy, Zan. He is sweet and helpful and everything she thought she ever wanted. But then he leaves with no explanation but ʺi need to get away from this. All of itʺ. Joy is sure that he couldn't have needed to get away from her too, or could he? She needs closure. So she sets off on a road trip to find him with Zan's annoying best friend Noah. Joy can't stand Noah. He's the picture perfect model of a popular guy. Joy hates that, but as the days go by and she gets to know him better, she wonders if he's really the guy she thought he was...but what about Zan? This was easily one of the best books I have ever read and if I was to rate it i would give it a 6 out of 5.
